LESSONS
Golden Stirrup Equestrian offers English and Western lessons, from beginner to advance riders.
We offer three different types of lessons to accommodate all levels of riders. Our Group Lessons have a maximum of 4 riders to allow every student to have the opportunity for individual attention, so that they can progress at their own pace.
During your lessons you will learn to ride a horse and at the same time you will learn how to understand what your horse is trying to communicate to you. All horses have their own individual personalities, and learning to appreciate and understand that will allow you to get the most out of every ride.
Unlike other barns, we do not run a semestered riding school. We run year round lessons through all seasons. Riders keep their lesson spot until they choose to move on.
For the health and well-being of our horses, height/weight limitations are in effect and are strictly enforced.
We have limited availability in our lesson program. Please send us an email to inquire if we are currently accepting new clients.
LESSON POLICY
Considerable time goes into planning lessons, therefore it is the responsibility of the rider to come to lessons and be on time.
In the event that GSE cancels a lesson due to weather or illness, your lesson will be moved forward, and no make-up will be required.
Your lesson time reserves the exclusive use of a school horse, cancellation for any reason must be made a minimum of 24 hours prior to your lesson time. If you do not cancel a lesson and do not show up for it, it will be considered a ‘NO SHOW” and you will be charged the full amount of the lesson.
Cancellations made with more than 24 hours notice may be rescheduled within a 30 day period from the cancellation date.
ALL CANCELLATIONS must be made by email at goldenstirrupequestrian@gmail.com. Canceling by text or phone call will not be accepted as the emails are saved with your file.
