Introduction to Riding Program
Do you have a child who loves horses, but you’re not sure whether you want to commit to horseback riding lessons? Or are you just looking for a fun experience for your kids? Our Introduction to Riding Experience is much more than a pony ride! The sessions are relaxed, fun, and interactive and are an excellent opportunity to introduce your child to horses!

Package #1 - 30 Minutes
$50
Includes:

5 minute introduction – brushing the horse and learning about is tack while getting to know the horse (pets and cuddles are encouraged!)

15 minutes of riding on a lead line outdoors (weather permitting) or in an indoor arena
-
10 minute opportunity for parents to capture memorable photos of their child with the horse, and reward the horse with treats - barn provided treats only please
Package #2 - 50 Minutes
$90
Includes:

10 minutes learning basic horsemanship – how to groom and tack, as well as getting to know the horse (pets and cuddles are encouraged!)

30 minutes of riding on a lead line outdoors (weather permitting) or in an indoor arena

10 minute opportunity for parents to capture memorable photos of their child with the horse, and reward the horse with treats - barn provided treats only please
Notes:

Children must be 4 years of age or older to participate

If two children are attending the same 50 minute session:
-
The children must be of similar height and weight to ensure a suitable horse and tack can be assigned to fit both riders

The riding time allotted will be split between them. Grooming and photo time will be shared

A guardian over the age of 18 must remain on property throughout the experience.

Photos are allowed and encouraged of your own children throughout your child's experience. However, please do not take pictures of other children or riders at the barn.

Our facility is also a private boarding facility and many of our horses are privately owned. Please do not go into the barn, touch or feed any of the horses that your child is not assigned to without permission.

All fees must be paid in full to confirm reservation. Refunds may be issued with 7 days notice. We cannot guarantee a reservation will be rescheduled due to limited availability.

All required information about the riders must be submitted via email at the time of payment to allow for the appropriate sized tack and horse to be scheduled for your child/children.

Signed liability waivers must be completed for each child riding, and be presented prior to the start of your session. This waiver may also be submitted electronically via email.

Helmets are MANDATORY when riding. There are helmets available to borrow, or you are welcome to bring your own.
